I had my appointment for the OS last night
I was there at 7.00pm and they sit you down to watch a short video showing the benefits and new experience of the OS, you sit on the plush seats that are on offer for the 66 Club at the OS, it was a bit naff but the Bucks Fizz was welcome

We were then sat down with a sales co-ordinator called Baron, smashing bloke who had plenty of time for us and was really thorough in his presentation.

He showed us images of the view from our current seats in the exact location at the OS and as we're currently 5 rows from the front we decided to move further up as the best I could see was the inside lanes of the running track and the long jump pit

The main points from last night are that if you are in a larger group you may struggle to get exactly where you want, there were 6 of us and we had to settle for row 19 near the away section as we couldn't get within 15 rows of our other mates who went to their viewing on Monday, as rows 20 to 38 are set aside for the 66 Club, which you can buy but are £1100 a seat with no concessions, so OAPS like Steve P and Sold would still have to pay full whack

The East Stand is massive and the club are convinced it will be a sell out in the first season due to many taking up the option of the two additional seats being offered to existing STH's , we had our viewing quite early in the the process and still couldn't get what we wanted

There are 10k signed up for ST's after the existing STH's have been allocated and virtually all of the corporate has been sold. All in all it was pretty impressive and it will be interesting to see what happens to our Club over the next 3-4 seasons, this could be the start of an amazing chapter in our history, but knowing how we've done things in the past, well you know

The one time I sat up there, I nearly bailed it was so shit. I don't consider myself to be a sufferer of claustrophobia, but I pretty much developed it over 90 minutes..

Probably nearly as bad as the seats in the OS in some posters heads..

Cheers soldo, johnson etc
Think I read they'd be on general sale on the 2nd if there were any left but it sounds like it might be worth giving the TO a try. How much are BMU season tickets?

Re: I had my appointment for the OS last night
Young Woody will be your man for that, he used to sit East Upper Gavvy, WHOmail him.

The club have really fucked up over this. After all the fanfare and utter bullshit they'd sent out to existing ST Holders about unprecedented demand and waiting lists, it's almost as if they're now pretending that there's none left to save face.

There should have been another push on the website after Fatso left and a fan's favourite came in, but nope, nothing.

I've sat back row of East Stand Upper once before, and never again. It's restricted for two reasons. One, the pillars and railings, and if you get a particularly bad seat this will drive you crazy leaning from side to side around the post. But the most annoying thing is the roof. Every time the ball is chipped slightly off the ground you can't see where it's gone. Drive me crazy.

But I'm sure there are some who sit up there year after year, and enjoy the cosy experience. You'll certainly get to know the people you're sitting next to well.

Re: I had my appointment for the OS last night
still a few available, yeah.

Does anyone know how bad the restricted view at the top of the east is as there's still quite a few of those on sale at a discount.

Re: I had my appointment for the OS last night
Rather than start a new thread I thought I'd ask on here.

Anyone have any idea on the chances of season tickets for next year reaching general sale?

Errrr.... 76% I reckon..... MATE told us Ascot on Friday that he contacted WHU ticket office on the off chance that him and his boy could get a season ticket... obviously thought last season etc virtually nil chance... said none together in BML but had plenty of choices in BMU so got two up there.... I thought ALL ST's had been flogged this year??

From a team point of you, we want to do the minimum in terms of travelling. So Wales or Andorra for me.

Re: I had my appointment for the OS last night
its 100k seats for all events at the OS per year, so maybe 50-60k for West Ham games specifically. I'd imagine the club will allow those for the more fallow games rather for the ones where locals might turn up and cheer on the opposition teams.

Re: I had my appointment for the OS last night
apologies if this has been done before, however looking at the latest noise around costs etc....the 100K seats per SEASON being handed out to Newham residents- anyone got any idea how this is planned to be administrated or where these seats will be?

5k seats per game or is it just like we've done lately hand them out for the band 3 /cup games to fill the seats.

Would be interesting to know how they can put that many on the market and "local residents" not selling them on if they are letting them have the seats or the band 1 type games ( or the semi finals of the champs league;-))

Either way, Im sure we ill have a particular place allocated soon for the locals to come in and point east as part of the deal...

Re: I had my appointment for the OS last night
If you want band 5 you'll have to join the waiting list. I think band 4 is about £500 if you jump in with one of them. £600 for band 3 and £800 for band 2.

southlondonhammer 12:11 Thu Jun 18
Re: I had my appointment for the OS last night
Personally, I want it as cheap as possible!

I am happy to sit in BAND 5, I doubt we will be able to attend every game anyway due to other commitments but it would be nice to have it on tap.

What were the brackets for the price bands again?
